Discharge Printing
We love printing discharge and it shows! Discharge printing is a screen printing process where instead of normal ink, discharge inks are used, which remove the shirt’s dye and replaces it with the ink color instead of putting a color on top of the shirt. This results in a soft feel that once washed, feels just like the shirt! Discharge printing is typically done on 100% cotton apparel.
Simulated Process
Most screen printed jobs can be printed with simple spot colors. Sometimes images are more complicated and cannot be replicated using standard printing processes. That is where simulated process can come in! Simulated process uses half tones and gradients to make an image appear to have more colors than what is actually printed. This is great for more realistic looking images and colorful illustrations. Simulated process and 4 color process can both be great for these types of images. Metallic Ink
Wow! It’s a great accent to most designs. We do not recommend printing metallic with fine detail or small lettering. But it does add a great flair!
4-Color Process
This is the process for reproducing colored illustrations and photographs in a close approximation to their original hues by separating the artwork successively through magenta, cyan, yellow, and black channels. This is typically done on white apparel. Simulated process and 4 color process can both be great for these types of images. Let us help you pick which process is best for your jobs!
